In a soviet space station, Katerina the robot welcomes Iouri, her human comrade and counterpart. Together they will accomplish their space mission to make their nation proud. As soon as he arrives, a routine sets in and a friendship begins to grow. But one day, something shakes Iouri deeply. He changes, pulls away without saying why. Lost and confused, Katerina tries to understand what's going on, before experienving a very human emotion: loneliness.
